The Dream of Dreams

Day after day, I wake up to see you are here.

Night after night, you save me from my own fears.

Time after time, I feel that you're always near.

Open my eyes stop all the pain,

Help me to breathe, slay all the bane,

Keep me whole and sane...

Open my mind; urge me to speak out what's so hard to say.

Help me to find possible answers and possible ways.

Show me the light, aid me through all of mine desperate strives.

Lead me through life, ease all my load and forgive me the lies.

When you go, allow me to come,

As I know, life can't be redone.

And I care, if all smiles are false,

And feelings are dead,

And all hope is gone.

Am I still sane, help me get out of this everyday play.

Is it a game, is it just me or is all just the same.

How can I tell a truth from a lie and a friend from a foe,

Magic from spell, hope from despair, please let me know.

So don't go and help me to rise,

And hold on until I am wise.

And I won't grow tired to try

To reach for the Sun,

And one day I'll fly.
