Domino Dancing formed in Los Angeles in the early 1980s with Connie Bergqvist on vocals, Lasse Lönndahl on guitar, Hasse Karlsson on bass, and Tommy Olsson on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1982, and they had some chart success with songs like "I'm Gonna Love You Tonight" and "Love You Like a Fool."
Bergqvist and Lönndahl kept the band going after some lineup changes in the late 1980s. They released albums through the early 1990s, including "Blue Horizon" in 1988 and "Eye to Eye" in 1991.
Their version of "You Are My Sunshine" became their most recognizable song. In 1990, they were involved in a legal dispute over the rights to that song, which they successfully defended.
