Domun

Domun formed in São Paulo in 2016, with Fernando Almeida on vocals and guitar, Raphael Lima on bass and keyboards, and Guilherme Maciel on drums. Their music pulls from alternative rock and electronica, with some ambient textures mixed in.

Their first album, 'Nada Para Agradar,' came out in 2017. The title track became a notable song for them. They followed it with 'Sobre o Tempo' in 2020, which leaned more into electronic and ambient sounds.

In 2019, their video for 'Não Me Toque' drew some criticism over its imagery. The band said it was meant as a metaphor for empowerment, not violence. They've kept a fairly low profile since, without much of the usual promotional buildup.
