Don Huonot formed in 1977, a Finnish band that put out three albums between 1978 and 1980. Their first album was self-titled, followed by 'Hyvää Yötä, Rautavaris' in 1979 and 'Kolmas' in 1980. The original lineup included Heimo Hiltunen on vocals and guitar, Veli-Pekka Kivimäki on guitar and vocals, Esa Pulliainen on drums, and Heikki Silvennoinen on bass.
Their song '70-luvun Lapset' became something of an anthem, though the band's material sometimes ran into trouble with broadcasters. They had a raw sound that mixed hard rock, punk, and folk elements.
Other tracks like 'Aarteenetsintää' and 'Auringon Jumalan Poika' show up in their catalog alongside 'Absurdit sävelkorvat' and 'Aika'. The band went through some lineup changes over their active years, but those early records from the late 70s and early 80s are what they're remembered for.
