Doomcide formed with Marcus Blackthorn on vocals and guitars, Evrard de la Croix on guitars and vocals, Cornelius Van der Velden on bass, and Amon on drums. They released their first album 'Desolation Eternal' in 2010, followed by 'Abyssal Dominion' in 2013.
Their 2016 album 'Dwelling the Dark' included the title track and 'Solace'. The band's lyrics and imagery drew criticism from some religious and conservative groups, and a 2015 concert in Norway was canceled due to threats from anti-metal protesters.
Doomcide released 'Leviathan' in 2019. Their music has been described as combining elements of doom and death metal.
