Doopees were an indie rock band from Austin, Texas, with Brian Standefer on lead vocals and guitar, Kevin Russell on guitar, Erik Hanson on bass, and Steve Drizos on drums. They released an EP in 2010, the single "Caroline, No" in 2012, and albums in 2014 and 2017.
Their song "Caroline, No" reached the top 10 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. The band's other tracks include "Doopee Time," "How Does It Feel," and "Medical Services."
In 2016, a former member filed a lawsuit against the band alleging breach of contract and misappropriation of funds. The case was settled out of court.
