Early Life and Influences
Doro Pesch, born on June 3, 1964, in Düsseldorf, Germany, developed a passion for music at a tender age. Influenced by iconic bands such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Judas Priest, she aspired to become a singer and musician.
Formation of Warlock
In 1982, Pesch joined forces with bassist Peter Szigeti and guitarist Rudy Graf to form the band Warlock. With her powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence, Pesch quickly became the focal point of the band. Over the course of the next decade, Warlock released a series of successful albums, including "True as Steel" (1986), "Triumph and Agony" (1987), and "Force Majeure" (1989).
