Een Schotse Collie vond een Pinkineesje

Bracht liefdevol cognacjes rond
En sprak vol wijsheid: "De kater
Mijne heren, die komt later"
Maar aan de Siamese kater had hij niet gedacht
Die wou 't allemaal sussen, maar hij mauwde veel te
zacht
Een Egyptische woestijnkat deed vals en toen poeslief
Tegen een hele kleine Smoushond uit de buurt van Tel
Aviv
Een Duitse Herder zei tegen een Dashond
"Ein Hotdog, mensch, noem jij dat nou een rashond?"
Toen vond opeens in het dierenasiel de hele meute een
zondebok
Ze gaven diezelfde dag die directeur z'n ontslag
En gingen toen zoetjes op kussentjesvoetjes weer
allemaal terug in 't hok
Ik nam dat Siameesje toen voorzichtig op m'n hand
Zo ging hij meer naar huis toe en ik noemde hem Oetant
