D'Perfo formed in the late 1990s with Bruno Morais on guitar, Bruno Maia on bass, and Leandro Fontes as vocalist. Their debut album "Pra Você Não Me Esquecer" came out in 1999, and the title track became a hit. The song "Você Foi Um Sonho" also appears among their notable work.
Leandro Fontes left the band in 2005 to pursue a solo career. Bruno Morais and Bruno Maia continued with new vocalists, including Leandro Lehart and Luiz Otávio. Fábio Almeida joined on drums.
They've released several albums over time, including "O Mundo É Nosso" in 2005, "Nós" in 2008, "Coração" in 2011, "O Som Que Conecta" in 2014, and "Pra Sempre" in 2017. Their music draws from Brazilian rhythms like samba and bossa nova alongside rock and pop elements.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
