The silence is deafening from society's beckoned call

Although enslaved put on a brave face

March in unbroken lines clawing tooth and nail

But these hands are tied, there is no escape

Nothing is personal, privacy invade

Living in chains, conform, connect

Be part of the plan, eyes front, do not stray

Follow and survive, that is just what it takes

Complete control, speak up do not speak out

Abrupt ending to self domain

What sick joke is this? Find it in distaste

Under scrutiny again and again

Belong to nothingness except the human race

Pointing fingers the original sin

Sin after sin after sin, concerned defiant pleas

Viewed to be outrage, stitched at the mouth

Then kicked in the teeth, keep correct conduct

Constant surveillance, failure to obey

Is counted for blatant mistrust, perpetual questioning

Prepare for much the same shell of former selves

No place just a face and a name, waging unseen war

To conquer dignity left with only choice

Be foe or be friend or be saved then be enslaved

Exhausting all morale, sweet smell of victory

Assassinated, embracing defeat, become a follower

And have just what it takes to be alive

Commit the ultimate sin, but has all sin been forgiven?
