Lemonade In The Morning

I overslept this morning

And then I burnt the toast

I know Im being negative

But thats what pushes me the most

Ill never be a painting

that everyone wants to hold

But dont worry youve reminded me

And your fightings getting bolder

We stab each other just for fun

With words that make us think weve won

And Im starting to believe that maybe I have lost

I wanna stand in my undies in the middle of the floor

and hold my breath, I just cant keep score anymore

I know that no one understands and I dont expect them to

I just dont want lemonade in the morning

I feel like a am sleepwalking

So I tripped down the bottom 2 stairs

And I know Ive got a closet full of clothes

But I cant find anything to wear

Ive got a million things to do

But I just wanna sit an stare

And think about the trees

And laugh without a care

But youre bringing me down

And this morning is bad enough as it is
