D'six formed in Porto in the early 2000s, playing a mix of pop and rock. Their song 'Escolhas Erradas' became a breakthrough single for them. The band included João Filipe on vocals, David Fonseca on guitar and vocals, Miguel Guedes on bass, and Martim Sousa Tavares on drums.
They released their self-titled debut album in 2004, followed by 'Imagina' in 2006 and 'A Vida Toda' in 2008. David Fonseca left the group in 2007. After a hiatus, they returned in 2018 with the album 'Regresso ao Futuro'.
