Dub Buk

Dub Buk formed in Ternopil as a duo with Nazar Huk and Myroslav Kharyton, later expanding to include Oleh Kulish and Yuriy Kotsur. Their music combines traditional Ukrainian folk melodies with electronic beats, creating a sound that feels both rooted and contemporary.

Their song "Тільки Наш Рід" (Only Our Clan) became particularly resonant during difficult periods in Ukraine, speaking to themes of unity and cultural identity. The band has released albums like "Сіль" (Salt), "Лід" (Ice), and "Вітер" (Wind) that explore this blend of old and new.

While their patriotic lyrics and modern approach to folk music have drawn both appreciation and criticism, Dub Buk has maintained a consistent focus on Ukrainian heritage.
