Duck Sauce

Duck Sauce is a collaborative project between Armand Van Helden and A-Trak. Van Helden had already built a reputation in house and techno, while A-Trak came from a hip-hop and electro background. They started working together around 2009, and their 2010 single 'Barbra Streisand' became an unexpected global hit. The track's humor and high-energy beat made it a staple in clubs and festivals.

Their sound pulls from both members' backgrounds, mixing house rhythms with playful samples and electro touches. After 'Barbra Streisand,' they released other singles like 'NRG' and 'Anyway,' and put out an album called 'Quack' in 2014. The project has mostly been a side venture for both artists, who continue with their own solo careers and other collaborations.

Duck Sauce's music is straightforward dance floor material, built on simple, catchy hooks rather than complex arrangements. They haven't released much new material in recent years, but tracks like 'Barbra Streisand' still turn up in DJ sets and playlists when people want something upbeat and familiar.
