His second album, 'Pra Que Ter Razão,' arrived in 2002. The title track became a hit, a ballad about arguments in love that people still know. He's put out other records like 'Essência do Samba' in 2005 and 'Samba de Verdade' in 2017.
In 2006, there were plagiarism claims about his song 'Você Não Vale Nada,' but they were dismissed. He's also been vocal about politics and social issues, which has sometimes drawn criticism.
