In 1993, his debut album 'A Dádiva a Vida Dá' brought him national attention, with the title track becoming a well-known ballad. Songs like 'Enganos' and 'Namoro' also came from this period.
He went on to release albums including 'Pra Sempre' in 1998, 'Música pra Ouvir em Casa' in 2002, 'Meu Tempo' in 2006, and 'A Vida É um Sopro' in 2014. His work has included collaborations with artists like Marisa Monte, Milton Nascimento, and Caetano Veloso.
In his early years, Sperb struggled with addiction, which affected his career for a time. He eventually overcame it with support from friends and family.
