Dupla Sael formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s as a duo with Isa Salles and Rafael Fares. Their sound mixed folk, pop, and reggae, and they had a hit with the song "Vai Ter Vida." Their first album was called "Simples Assim," and they followed it with "Entre o Céu e o Mar."
In 2012, Salles had a health issue that paused their work for a while. They came back later and kept making music. In 2015, they put out a track called "Migrante" that dealt with refugees and immigration.
Salles handled most of the singing and writing, while Fares played guitar and added vocals. Their music touched on things like love and the environment, but mostly they were known for that easygoing blend of styles and the warmth in their recordings.
