Dwarners

Dwarners formed in São Paulo in 1997, with Renato Dwarnarski on vocals and guitar, Caio Dwarnarski on bass, Pedro Dwarnarski on drums, and Leonardo Dwarnarski on keyboards. Their self-titled debut album found an audience in Brazil, mixing samba, funk, and rock in a way that felt fresh at the time.

In 2002, the song "Acabou" from their second album became a massive hit. It's a dance track about a relationship ending, and its simple, catchy melody connected with listeners far beyond Brazil. Other songs like "Amor" and "Ilusão" also became popular, helping define their sound in those years.

Leonardo Dwarnarski left the band in 2007. The group continued without him, though the exact lineup changes aren't detailed here. Their music from that period, including tracks like "Começou" and "Esquema," kept their name in circulation.
