In 1985, they were asked to contribute to the soundtrack for the film "The Last Dragon." Their title track for that movie became their most recognizable song, reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
After that, they released albums like "Dwight David" and "Enhanced," working with R&B, funk, and pop sounds. The band faced some legal questions about the melody of "The Last Dragon," which created a distraction for a while.
