Dwilly formed in Los Angeles with David Silver on vocals and guitar, Dean Scheff on bass, and Bill Leen on drums. Their debut album 'Ugh' came out in 1993, and the title track became their most recognizable song, capturing a certain mood that connected with listeners at the time.

Beyond 'Ugh,' they put out albums like 'Dwilly' in 1994, 'Undone' in 1996, and 'The Remains of the Day' in 1998. Their catalog includes songs such as '1999,' 'ADD (feat. Emilia Ali),' 'Crayola,' and 'Homesick,' which maintained a consistent thread of introspective writing and straightforward rock energy.
