Earlimart

Earlimart formed in Los Angeles in 1999, taking their name from a small town in California's Central Valley. The band was built around vocalist Aaron Espinoza, with Aaron Embry on guitar, Seth Cromwell on bass, and Aaron Sinclair on drums. They released their debut album 'Treble and Tremble' the following year.

Their music often dealt with heavy emotional terrain, which sometimes put them at the center of uncomfortable conversations. The song 'It's Ok To Think About Ending' from their 2002 album 'Everyone I Loved Is Dead' drew particular attention for its direct approach to dark thoughts. The band went on hiatus in 2004 when Espinoza stepped away to deal with personal struggles.

They returned in 2006 with 'The Night Before,' followed by the more acoustic 'Hymns' in 2008. Other songs like '10 Years' and 'Bloody Nose' continued their focus on internal landscapes. Espinoza left the band for good in 2010 to focus on his mental health, effectively ending the project.
