A band that started with 'The World We Create' in 2008 and kept pushing through lineup changes and new albums.
For a good sense of their sound, try 'Someday' or 'Junkie.' Both have that driving guitar work and earnest vocals that define most of their catalog.
They've got a solid catalog of original songs like 'Someday' and 'Memories' that hold up alongside their 2014 cover of Korn's 'Narcissistic Cannibal.' The fact they've kept releasing albums every few years since 2008, from 'The War Within' to 2020's 'Blood + Bone', shows a band that sticks with it. Their music has that straightforward hard rock energy without getting lost in trends.
EarlyRise formed in 2006 with Alex Kaminsky on vocals and put out their first album two years later. Guitarist Jake Giddings left after a few years, replaced by Mike Hubbard, but they kept recording through the 2010s. The albums came steadily: 'This Is Not the End' in 2012, 'Immortal' in 2016, then 'Blood + Bone' in 2020.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
