Eastman formed in Ohio in 2005 with Bobby Dolan on vocals and guitar, Lincoln Parish on bass, Will Knaak on drums, and Travis Meeks on keyboards. Their debut album 'The Way It Was' came out in 2007 and included the song 'Be My Peace.'
In 2012, keyboardist Travis Meeks died in a car accident. The band continued with Michael Glabicki joining on keyboards. They released albums like 'Dear Life' in 2009, 'Into the Wilderness' in 2012, and 'Answers' in 2016.
A former member filed a lawsuit against the band in 2015 over contract issues, which Eastman eventually won. The current lineup remains Dolan, Parish, Knaak, and Glabicki.
