Easyday formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2014 with Vitor Kley, Bernardo Fonseca, Fabiano Cambota, and Dinho Almeida. They started with rehearsals in small spaces before releasing their debut EP 'Easy Day' in 2016. That record mixed pop with MPB and funk, setting up what came next.
Their 2020 album 'Dia Fácil' included the song of the same name, which became a hit. They've also put out tracks like 'Menina confusa' and 'Sentir Você'. In 2019, there were some plagiarism claims around 'Dia Fácil', but the band denied them.
Easyday has worked with other Brazilian artists including Projota and Anitta. Kley handles most of the writing and vocals, with Fonseca on drums, Cambota on bass, and Almeida on guitar.
