Echö

Echö formed in Stockholm around 2012, though not much is known about their beginnings. The members go by the letters A, B, C, and D, which has kept their actual identities out of the conversation. Their first album was called 'As You Wish,' and it came out the same year they started.

Their music tends toward atmospheric electronica with indie pop touches. The track 'As You Wish' got some attention, and they've put out a few other albums like 'Echoes' in 2015 and 'Shadow of the Sun' in 2021. Other songs include 'Sometimes' and 'Sei Não,' which fit into that same hazy, layered sound.

Because they've stayed anonymous, there's been occasional talk about whether it's a gimmick or if it helps the music stand on its own. They haven't really addressed it publicly, so the focus stays mostly on the recordings themselves.
