Ecliptica formed in the late 1990s with vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva and guitarist Patrik Gardberg. Their debut album 'The Embrace' came out in 2000, followed by 'Silent Martyr' in 2004. They released 'I Am the Enemy' in 2006 and 'A New Dawn' in 2009.
Their song '(Down In) Camelot' from the 'I Am the Enemy' album features a guitar solo by Jeff Loomis. Charlotte Wessels appears on the title track of 'A New Dawn.' Other songs in their catalog include 'Attitude,' 'Black Swan,' and 'Carry On.'
Bassist Magnus Rosén left in 2005, replaced by Jukka Ruutiainen. Drummers Michael Carlsson and Thomas Eriksson have also played with the band at different times.
