Ecos D'Alma

Ecos D'Alma is a Portuguese musical collective that began in 2008. Their song 'A Estranha Dança do Palhaço Morto' became widely known, with its title translating to The Strange Dance of the Dead Clown. The group includes Joana Guerra on vocals, Hugo Santos on guitar, Gonçalo Cruz on bass, Ricardo Oliveira on drums, Cláudia Cruz on keyboards, Pedro Santos on cello, and another Ricardo Oliveira on violin.

They released their first album, also called 'A Estranha Dança do Palhaço Morto,' in 2011. A second album, 'As Cinzas do Meu Ser,' followed in 2014. Other songs in their catalog include 'Armagedom,' 'Estrela Vermelha,' and 'Lágrimas na Chuva.'

Some listeners have found their lyrics cryptic and their overall sound unsettling, which has led to occasional speculation about their themes. The band has denied any occult associations. Their music tends to explore darker subjects, but they've maintained a steady presence without much elaboration on those aspects publicly.
