Ecosmith is a band made up of four siblings from Walnut, California: Sydney Sierota on lead vocals, Jamie Sierota on guitar and vocals, Graham Sierota on drums, and Noah Sierota on bass and vocals. They started playing local talent shows and put out their first EP, simply called 'Ecosmith,' in 2013.
Their 2014 single 'Cool Kids' became a breakout hit, its catchy melody and relatable lyrics connecting with a wide audience and pushing the band into the spotlight. The song's success led to their debut album 'Talking Dreams' in 2015, followed by 'Inside Out' in 2018.
In 2016, Sydney Sierota spoke publicly about her experience with an eating disorder. The band's sound leans into pop with rock and folk touches, built around the siblings' vocal harmonies.
