Eddy de Pretto

Eddy de Pretto came up in Créteil, born in 1990. He started writing rap lyrics as a teenager, pulling from hip-hop, rock, and traditional French music. His debut album 'Cure' arrived in 2018, with the title track drawing attention for its direct lyrics about mental health and sexuality.

That album included 'Pause,' a collaboration with Yseult and Ensemble that became a breakout song. He followed up with 'A tous les batards' in 2021, working again with Yseult alongside Benjamin Biolay and Jean-Louis Aubert. Other tracks like 'Quartier Des Lunes' and 'Comme Ça' show his style, which sits somewhere between rap and chanson.
