Edgar Escobar

Edgar Escobar is a Colombian singer and composer from Medellín. His father liked classical music, and his mother sang hymns, which shaped his early interest. As a teenager, he sang in a choir and later wrote songs after a spiritual change in his twenties.

His song 'Mira a Jesús' became widely known in Christian music circles. Other songs include 'Grande es el Señor', 'Santo es el Señor', and 'Jesucristo'. He worked with musicians like Edgar Núñez on guitar and collaborated with artists such as Juan Luis Guerra and Danilo Montero.
