Edinaldo Luz was born in Itiruçu, Bahia in 1951 and grew up in a musical household where his father played accordion. He later moved to Salvador and began performing in local bars and clubs there.
The track helped establish him nationally and led to a recording contract with CBS. Other songs from his catalog include "Te Amar Assim" and "Sem Me Machucar."
He went on to release albums like "Volta ao Mundo" in 1983 and "Guitarra e Paixão" in 1994. Over time, he worked with musicians including percussionist Cláudio Luz, bassist Beto Jamaica, and guitarist Paulinho Leme.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
