Eduardo Dutra Jr. is a Brazilian singer and songwriter from Rio de Janeiro. His father was a musician, and growing up he listened to artists like Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, and Chico Buarque.
He released his debut album 'Acredito' in 1995, with the title track becoming his most recognizable song. Other songs in his catalog include 'Que Darei Eu', 'Viver o Melhor', and 'Maravilhoso'.
Later albums included 'Mais que Perfeito' in 2000, 'Amor de Verdade' in 2003, and 'Pra Sempre' in 2009. In the early 2000s he was involved in a legal dispute over royalties.
