Archive material and source history
Eduardo Goes is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Rio de Janeiro who came from a musical family. He started playing guitar and singing early, drawing from samba and rock among other styles. In 2012, his debut album 'Sem Tua Graça' came out with the title track as its centerpiece.
That song 'Sem Tua Graça' became a hit and pushed him into wider recognition. He has released two more albums since then: 'A Vida de Eduardo' in 2015 and 'Renascer' in 2022. He works as a solo performer with a backing band.
His career hasn't been without friction. He has dealt with plagiarism accusations regarding similarities in his music to other artists' work. In 2018, he faced a vocal cord injury that required rehabilitation before he could sing again.
