Edvaldo Nascimento

Edvaldo Nascimento came up through Grupo Molejo, the Rio ensemble where he first made his name. His breakout track "O Peru Rodou" became a dance floor staple, its playful rhythm and lyrics catching on with listeners across Brazil. That song, along with others like "Minas e Minas" and "Coração Quente," helped define his early sound.
