Efecto Elegante

Efecto Elegante formed in Mexico City in the early 2000s, with Joel Carrion on vocals, Carlos Ramirez on guitar, Alex Ruelas on bass, and Jose Luis Lopez on drums. Their name translates to 'Elegant Effect,' which fits their approach to blending straightforward pop-rock with more elaborate arrangements.

Their 2005 single 'Préstame Tu Corazón' became a hit across Latin America. The song's direct melody and earnest lyrics connected with listeners, giving the band a wider audience and leading to several album releases over the following decade.
