Eha Urbsalu started making music in Haapsalu, Estonia, where she grew up hearing folk songs and traditional rhythms. She formed her first band, Indigolapsed, as a teenager before going solo in 2007 with her debut album 'Ingel.'
Her 2009 single 'Gotta Go' became her breakthrough track, connecting with listeners in Estonia and elsewhere. The song's melody and lyrics about modern relationships helped establish her as a recognizable voice.
Urbsalu has released several albums since then, including 'Mari' in 2009, 'Hinga' in 2011, 'Aeg' in 2015, and 'Lugu' in 2018. She works with musicians like Andres Roots on drums and Siim Av.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
