Eilen Jewell

Eilen Jewell grew up in Idaho listening to her parents' records, which included Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and Emmylou Harris. She moved to Boston in 1997 and began performing there, drawing from folk, country, blues, and jazz. Her self-titled debut album came out in 2006, with critics noting similarities to Lucinda Williams and Emmylou Harris.
