Enchanted Sleep

Open up your eyes and look,

We've fallen through the pages of a book;

Brilliant shadows bounce off me,

Have we passed into sleep?

Enchanted sleep.

Chances are, this is a dream,

It's odd how beautifully real it seems,

Brilliant colour surrounds me,

Have I passed into sleep?

Enchanted Sleep.

Now I'm sleeping.

As the day rolls out, fireflies come out,

We pluck the stars down and we put them in our mouths,

I look around and soon we've swallowed the moon,

Oh, well,

I'm glad I could share it with you.

I don't understand these things

So I'll pass back into sleep ;enchanted sleep,

Now I'm sleeping.
