Rodrigo Alejandro Bueno, known as El Potro Rodrigo, was born in Córdoba, Argentina in 1973. He started playing music as a teenager with his first band Manija, and his 1994 debut solo album 'A 2000' brought him national attention in Argentina.
His music mixed traditional cuarteto rhythms with rock and pop elements, creating an energetic sound that connected with a wide audience. Songs like 'Soy Cordobés' and 'Ocho Cuarenta' became staples of his live shows, which were known for their high-energy performances.
Rodrigo's career was marked by both musical success and personal difficulties. He continued recording and performing throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, working with musicians including members of La Mona Jiménez's band.
