El Sueño de Otros formed in Mexico City in the early 2000s around singer-guitarist Luis Nava and bassist Ulises Lozano. Their debut album 'Tocar el Viento' came out in 2002, followed by 'Al Borde del Desierto' in 2004. That second album included the song 'Nadie Me Reemplaza,' which got regular radio play in Mexico.
Lozano left the band in 2006, and Ramsés Vivaldo joined on bass. Their sound shifted on later albums like 'Calma' (2008) and 'Confía' (2010), moving away from their earlier punk influences toward something more polished and reflective.
