Their 1996 debut album, "Vivo Só Para Te Abraçar," gave them their breakthrough. The title track, a ballad about unrequited love, became their most recognizable song. They faced a legal dispute over the song's rights around 2000, which they eventually resolved.
Later albums like "Luz e Sombra" (2000) and "Horizonte" (2010) kept their foundation in bossa nova and fado while adding touches of pop and rock. They worked with musicians like bassist Nelson Conceição and had collaborations with artists including Marisa Monte.
