Elektroduendes

Elektroduendes formed in Buenos Aires in 2002, bringing together Andean folk elements with electronic dance music. The band's lineup included Federico Estevez on vocals, Mauro Lopez on guitar, Juan Campodónico on bass, and Juan Manuel Medina on drums. Their early work explored themes of social inequality and urban life, setting the tone for what would follow.

Their 2004 album 'Subversiones' established their approach, and the single 'Salgo a La Calle' became particularly well-known for its driving rhythm and street-level perspective. Other songs like 'Al Otro Lado' and 'Armas de Destruccion' continued in this vein, blending danceable beats with socially conscious lyrics.

Over the next decade and a half, they released several more albums including 'Cosmovisiones' in 2007, 'El Baile de los Que Sobran' in 2010, 'Revolución de la Alegría' in 2014, and 'Conectar' in 2018. Their music maintained its electro-Andean fusion throughout these releases, with tracks like 'Desde La Rendija' and 'Esas Banderas' appearing among their most recognized work.
