It's always getting clearer

It's coming through to me

Can you hear it in your ear

When you are fast asleep?

They're always sending letters

They wait for you at home

It's hard to drown it out

This empty, endless drone

And it's crumbling down

And it's rotting away

And you're wanting to leave

But you'll never escape

They call when you are sleeping

They shake your hand downtown

Seems like everywhere you go

They follow you around

You hear it when you're driving

You see it on the wall

Everytime you read it there

You feel nothing at all

And was it just a lie?

But never believe

When they come from every angle
