Eliane Leite grew up in Rio de Janeiro's Madureira neighborhood, where she heard samba and bossa nova from an early age. Her grandfather was a samba composer, and she started singing young, influenced by Brazilian singers like Elis Regina and Maria Bethânia.
She released her first album 'Flor de Lis' in 2009, followed by 'Voz e Violão' in 2012. Songs like 'Você É Meu Bem' and 'Amo Você' show her clear voice working with samba rhythms and bossa nova harmonies. In 2017, she had a legal dispute with her record label that kept her from putting out new music for a while.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
