Elieser & Edna

Elieser Silva and Edna Freitas met as teenagers in Rio de Janeiro and began singing together. Their song 'Fala Comigo' came out in 1984 and became their most recognizable track, along with others like 'Momento Esperado' and 'Amor Real'.

They worked as a vocal duo with Elieser on guitar, releasing albums through the 1980s and 1990s including 'Sentimentos' in 1986 and 'Doce Encontro' in 1992. Their music tended toward pop with themes of love and relationships.

In the 1990s they faced a legal dispute over song rights that created some difficulty, though they continued performing. Their partnership remained the core of their work, with both contributing vocals.
