Her band has included guitarist André Siqueira, bassist Ricardo Silveira, and drummer Marcos Suzano. She recorded an acoustic session for MTV in 2004. Some of her songs, like 'Minha Força,' carry a social or political edge, which has drawn mixed reactions over time.
She released another self-titled album in 2015. Her voice has a certain lightness to it, but she tends to ground it in those Brazilian rhythms rather than floating off entirely.
