Elisa Rosa came up in Salvador, Bahia, where she grew up around music. Her first real break came with the single "Sem Pressão," which featured Budah and LP Beatzz and got some attention. She followed that with songs like "Amor & Rancor" and "Fé Na Fase."
Her debut album was called "Pra Brilhar." She works with a band that includes her brother Gabriel Rosa on guitar, along with percussionist Edilson Capinam, bassist Junior Nery, and keyboardist Bruno Camurça. They play a mix of Brazilian rhythms with pop and R&B touches.
She has recorded with other artists, including Camila Zasoul on the track "Na Pista." The music keeps a local Bahian feel while reaching for a wider audience.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
