One hand in a pocket the other on him

No time like the present for rebellion

Two sides of a whole only minutes apart

How can one keep on living with half of a heart

Now there's nothing but silence to finish his sentences

And he can't try to hide it 'cause his pain can't be fixed

Though his tears never dry and his cheeks stained red

He knows one day they'll hold each other again

When the fireworks blare over his crimson hair

He'll think black on the memories that they got to share

And his soul rising up leaves his brother behind

Flashes of moments play back like a screen

As his family’s left asking why’d he have to leave
