Krauss has worked with musicians like Yo-Yo Ma, Pat Metheny, and Brandi Carlile. Her band has included Dan Berglund on guitar, Larry Campbell on bass, and Jay Bellerose on drums for many years. She sang the national anthem at the 2004 Republican National Convention, which drew some criticism.
