Their debut album, 'Não Tem Saída', came out in 1997 and drew some critical attention, though it didn't sell widely. The band kept putting out records over the next decade or so, like 'O Vento Sabe' in 2001 and 'Verdade' in 2007.
Their sound, built on Oléria's voice and Gross's guitar work, has always split opinion. Some listeners found it emotionally raw, while others called it too sentimental. There have been occasional plagiarism claims, which the group has denied.
Later lineups included bassist Duda Neves and drummer João Gaspar. They released albums into the 2010s, such as 'Pérolas Negras' in 2011 and 'Feito Pra Você' in 2013.
